Dan Betzer, a veteran of over 60 years in broadcasting media, is a pastor, writer, television and radio host, district and national executive with the Assemblies of God, and is known for his ministry to children around the world.

• Since 1987, he has served as senior pastor of First Assembly Ministries in Fort Myers, Florida. The church serves 10,000 members and adherents in its five campuses.
• He is the assistant district superintendent of the Peninsular Florida District of the Assemblies of God, carrying the portfolio of World Missions Secretary.
• He is an executive presbyter of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, representing the Southeast Region of the United States.
• He is known for the “Dan and Louie@ ministry to children around the world. With his famous dummy named Louie, Dan has produced over 50 audio and video albums.
• As a soloist, he has produced 17 albums and has sung with artists through the years, most recently with the Ralph Carmichael Orchestra.
• He is the writer and host of the 2-minute weekday radio commentary Byline, which is heard on over 240 radio stations. He also hosts the 60-second weekday Byline television commentary, which is aired around the world on over 900 television stations with a potential audience of 186 million viewers. Byline television can be seen on Christian networks such as TBN, CTN, FamilyNet, Cornerstone Network, and Daystar Network. • Prior to entering the ministry, he was a radio/television news anchor for a number of years.

• He has been married for over 50 years to his wife, Darlene; they have three daughters and a son (who is a missionary in Africa) and seven grandchildren.
